This 8-acre light display occurs from Nov. 30 through Dec. 28. Visit anytime from 6-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, then anytime from 6-10 p.m. Friday or Saturday.

Holiday in the Gardens

Each year, Moody Gardens in Galveston hosts its Holiday in the Gardens event. This year, the festivities start on Nov. 16 and run through Jan. 12. Hone your ice skating skills, then warm up with hot beverages and food. Children can enjoy getting a picture with Santa. Then explore the light displays and check out the ice slides for more seasonal fun.

Dallas Zoo Lights

Head to the Dallas Zoo to immerse yourself in illuminated displays and holiday music while building memories with your loved ones. From Nov. 15 through Jan. 5, stop by for a Christmas-themed evening.
