The Jeep Legacy: Learn about the history of this rugged, iconic brand
1. Uconnect 5 Personalized Profiles
Uconnect 5 can store up to five user profiles, which include preferences for music, seat and mirror positions, and more. Users can easily personalize the system’s home screen, changing the aspect ratio, pinning their most-used features, and adjusting the card-based display format. The system even lets two different users connect their phones via Bluetooth at the same time.
2. TomTom Navigation
An all-new TomTom navigation system is built in and comes with features like online and offline search, destination prediction, traffic information, multilane guidance, automatic Maps Over the Air updating, Last Mile Navigation with walking directions, and services for electric vehicles.
3. Cloud-Based Services
The Uconnect Market platform allows users to find and pay for gas, order food, schedule service appointments, and access other cloud-based features directly from the infotainment system.
4. Integrated Technologies
Uconnect 5 incorporates technologies like Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, and SiriusXM with 360L. Plus, drivers with home Amazon Alexa devices can use the built-in Uconnect Alexa skill to check the news, play music, interact with a to-do list, and much more.
5. Fewer Distractions
Voice recognition and voice control get a significant upgrade for Uconnect 5, with improvements like better background-noise filtering that make it easier than ever for users to take advantage of these technologies and keep their eyes on the road. The system also incorporates more audio alerts and dims automatically for safer night driving.
6. Upgraded Uconnect 5 Platform
Uconnect 5 boasts beefed-up processing power with speedier operation and more memory. The Wi-Fi hotspot is faster, too. The Ultra HD screen offers superior crispness and up to 12.3 inches of width. The system is also equipped with Firmware-Over-the-Air updating that can automatically update the software for certain infotainment features.
