Cadillac ELR Customers Receive Complimentary Home Charging Station

Being one of the first to purchase the all-new 2014 Cadillac ELR just became a little more appealing. Not only will customers receive a revolutionary electric luxury vehicle, but Cadillac has announced that it will install a complimentary 240-volt home charging station for early buyers.
The upgraded 240-volt station seriously reduces the charge time for the Cadillac ELR. From a standard 120-volt outlet the ELR charges completely in roughly 12 hours, but the 240-volt system cuts that time to about four and a half hours, and is yet another way Cadillac is attempting to enhance the car-buying process of its newest installment.

“The ELR’s blend of leading technology with provocative design and fun-to-drive performance is set to bring new buyers to Cadillac and to electrification itself,” said Uwe Ellinghaus, chief marketing officer of Cadillac, in a press release. “Professional installation of the fastest home-charging unit is a natural way to mark the introduction of ELR to the luxury market.”
Would the Cadillac ELR charging station motivate you to choose the all-new electrified luxury coupe over another vehicle?
