Buick ranks third in highest overall vehicle dependability among all brands, and it comes out on top among all mass-market brands, according to the 2018 J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study.
The study results also highlighted the LaCrosse sedan, which ranked first in the Large Car segment for this year’s dependability award. Despite the popularity of the 2015 Chevy Impala and 2015 Ford Taurus, these two vehicles came in second and third places.
While the study evaluated the 2015 model of the LaCrosse over the past three years, this model continues to deliver superior reliability to consumers as the 2018 model year plays out. The first factor that the 2018 LaCrosse offers is pleasing performance. You can upgrade the standard 2.5-liter engine to a 3.6-liter V6; paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission, this powertrain dishes out a healthy 310 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque.
