It’s a versatile truck, with three body-style choices—the two-door Regular Cab, extended four-door Double cab, and four-door CrewMax cab. The Tundra Regular Cab comes equipped with 18-inch steel wheels, heated mirrors, chrome bumpers, and full power accessories. Stepping up to the Double cab will get you some additional features, like keyless entry and intermittent windshield wipers. Higher trim levels add more premium-feel features, like fog lights, a bed rail system with adjustable tie-down cleats, and auto-dimming side mirrors. Above all else, the Tundra’s rugged exterior appearance makes it extremely appealing to anyone in the market for a capable pickup truck.

Sticking to the theme of versatility, the Tundra is offered with three engine choices in rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. A 4.0-liter V6 engine delivers 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque via a standard automatic transmission. Stepping it up a notch, a 4.6-liter V8 motor pumps out 310 hp and 327 lb-ft of torque. Finally, the available 5.7-liter V8 whopper generates 381 hp and a humungous 401 lb-ft of torque, making it the perfect beast for all your towing needs. Speaking of towing, when the 5.7-liter engine is paired with the optional Tow package, this Tundra can haul up to 10,400 pounds—not too shabby at all!

While efficiency isn’t something you’d expect from a full-size pickup truck, you’d be surprised at just how efficient the 2013 Toyota Tundra is. The entry-level 4.6-liter engine returns 16 mpg city, 20 mpg highway, and 17 mpg combined. Similarly, the 4.6-liter V8 gets an EPA-estimated 15/20/17 mpg city/highway/combined. Finally, if you choose the 5.7-liter V8 engine, you’ll see an estimated 13/18/15 city/highway/combined.
