The Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo
One of the best aspects of video games is their ability to make people experience things they would never experience in real life—for example, games like Gran Turismo 6 allows players to drive performance cars, luxury cars, or even race cars that would otherwise be inaccessible to a significant part of the population.

In some cases, it can even let them drive cars that no one in the real world can enjoy, even the richest of the rich—like the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo.
For Gran Turismo 6, video game developer Polyphony Digital invited several automakers to each design a unique concept that would be featured in the game.
Mercedes-Benz was the first to take on the challenge. The result was a beautiful, curvy sports car reminiscent of the 300 SL racing car featuring an AMG V8 biturbo engine. It cranks out 577 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque via an AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed sports transmission for a weight-to-power ratio of 2.43 kg/HP thanks to its ultra-lightweight, 1,385 kg carbon-fiber body.
