1994 Corvette Limo Could be Yours For as Low as $20,000
Dance like no one is watching, work like you don’t need the money, and live each day like it’s prom night – Ancient Incan proverb
If you’ve ever wanted to drive around your town like the world’s coolest and most prom-ready high school senior (circa-1994), then get a load of this: Mecum Indianapolis is auctioning off a 1994 Chevy Corvette Limousine at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, May 12th through 16th.
And despite the Corvette limo’s unimpeachable awesomeness, Mecum only expects the vehicle to fetch between $20,000 and $30,000 at auction. Talk about a steal!
The ’94 Vette limo seats six, features a 300 horsepower LT1 V8 engine, an automatic transmission, a rear stereo with 400 watt amplifier, and two televisions (and, from the looks of it, a complementary VCR).
Not only that, but the backseat passenger area also includes a set of custom Corvette-etched glasses and a matching ice tray. Talk about class.
Is there anything more American than combining the excesses of a sports car with the opulence of a luxury limo in a way that negates the respective aesthetic values of both? If there is, then we’ve never seen it.
So if you have a spare 20 grand lying around, you owe it to yourself to buy this car. And if you are completely broke, then you owe it to yourself to sink yourself deep into debt by buying and then living out of this car.
