Acura Announces “NSX Insider Experience” Factory Tour for Customers

NSX Insider Experience

Boy, you really get what you pay for when you buy a $160,000 Acura NSX, huh?

Not only does each purchase of the acclaimed and long-awaited hybrid supercar come with a personalized making-of film and a unique scale model, but today Acura announced that owners can also be treated to the “NSX Insider Experience,” a custom program allowing owners to experience the making of their bespoke supercar.

The NSX Insider Experience gives owners a one-on-one tour of key Acura facilities across Ohio, including the Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC) in Marysville, Ohio, where the NSX is built, as well as the engine assembly room at the nearby Anna Engine Plant. Guests can even track an NSX, guided by professional drivers, on the Transportation Research Center proving grounds where the car was developed and tuned.

And truly, nothing says “ultra-luxury supercar” like a trip to a manufacturing plant in Ohio.

I kid, I kid—Acura is quite proud of the NSX being the only supercar designed, developed, and manufactured in the United States. And this new program allows owners to share in that pride by visiting the Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio, where their vehicle is exclusively produced.

Current owners can start participating in the experience now, while new owners will have the opportunity to witness and engage in the making of their own individual NSX beginning this spring. They’ll even get the chance to place the Acura emblem on their vehicle.

“NSX Insider Experience takes our clients behind-the-scenes to see the precision craftsmanship that goes into each NSX,” said Acura VP Jon Ikeda. “This is a memorable and deeply personal journey that we hope will convey the sense of pride and passion we have for the NSX.”

NSX Experience seekers can choose from six different packages, which start at $2,700, and often include travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, and more. To get more information booking your trip, go to nsxinsiderexperience.com.
