2017 Acura NSX Jay Leno film "NSX Originals"

The 2017 Acura NSX may be a $160,000 supercar, but you do get a pretty good customer service experience for all of that dough.

At least, that’s the idea behind the new “NSX Originals” campaign, which gives each NSX owner a personalized film that matches the exact specs and serial number of their individual vehicle.

Among the owners being catered to is comic and auto aficionado Jay Leno, who will be receiving NSX no. 0003. Acura released Leno’s customized video today—take a look:

Acura has made seven distinct versions of the film, each of which showcase the “power, dynamism and beauty of the NSX,” alongside a particular aspect of the development technology or manufacturing process that was instrumental in its creation.

All of the “NSX Originals” custom owner films, including those made for vehicles delivered to date, are featured on a new microsite called www.nsxoriginals.com.

“The Acura NSX is a bespoke supercar inspired by an original concept, and this campaign speaks directly to that heritage,” said Jon Ikeda, the vice president and general manager of Acura.

The personalized video isn’t the only advantage of NSX ownership. Customers also receive a unique 1:18 scale model of their supercar, which is also crafted to match the exact exterior paint color, interior scheme, and factory installed features (carbon fiber pieces, brake calipers, custom wheels, and more) as their own NSX.

Oh, and each NSX customer also gets a freakin’ NSX!!!

You know, a long-anticipated, 573-horsepower hybrid supercar that was recently named Road & Track magazine’s “Performance Car of the Year”? Yeah, that seems like a pretty cool perk, too.
