Buick’s June 2014 Sales Mark Best June Since 2005
It’s been a long battle back up for Buick, following the financial crisis of the late 2000s, but Buick has officially topped numbers as far back as 2005. Buick’s June 2014 sales were actually up 18 percent year-over-year, the best June for the brand since 2006, while retail sales specifically were up 12 percent year-over-year and marked the best June since 2005.
“New customers are discovering a fresh, modern Buick brand,” said Duncan Aldred, U.S. vice president, Buick and GMC. “The award-winning products and advertising are bringing them into the showroom, where our retailers provide them with an excellent sales experience.”
The Encore, Regal, LaCrosse, and Enclave all performed exceptionally well in June. Encore sales shot up 82 percent over last June, with sales doubling from the first half of 2013. Meanwhile, the Regal managed a 26 percent increase year-over-year, which marks its ninth month of year-over-year gains in a row, since its introduction.
The LaCrosse posted a 14 percent sales increase from last month and a 33 percent increase from last June. The Enclave saw a 35 percent sales increase from May.
