Consumer Guide Automotive Names Scion iA a Best Buy
Ever since the 2016 Scion iA made its debut, budget-savvy drivers have been flocking to the affordable sedan for its myriad of features, excellent fuel economy, and customizability. Now, the Scion iA has received the Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Award in the subcompact class.
“The Scion iA is loaded with premium amenities and safety features, including a low-speed pre-collision system, which really helps it stand out,” said Scion Vice President Andrew Gilleland. “The iA is a $17,000 car and was developed to be the best buy in its class, so this award from Consumer Guide Automotive validates those efforts.”
The Best Buy award takes into account spaciousness (passenger and cargo), fit and finish, ride and handling, and power and performance. With an MSRP of just $17,595, the iA is one of the most affordable compact sedans available in today’s market, and its standard low-speed collision system helped it earn a Top Safety Pick Plus designation from the IIHS.
