The Mazda CX-5 is one of the hottest cars out there, so naturally everyone wants one. However, some people don’t want to spend the money for such a luxurious car — they just want it.
Small but Edgy: The Mazda CX-3 Redesign
In Venice, California, a cyclist stopped traffic on a busy Saturday morning when he saw a Mazda CX-5 on Abbot Kinney Blvd. that looked all too familiar. As it turns out, it was his wife’s stolen car, and he made sure he was getting it back. After trying to get the driver to stop and she didn’t, the man threw his bike in front of the vehicle and called the cops to report the discovery of the stolen Mazda.
YouTuber Matthew Santoro happened to be driving by and captured the incident on camera as the woman, 39-year-old Erica Puig, tried to flee from the confrontation before other witnesses chased her down and held her until officers arrived. Santoro posted the video on Twitter, which the LAPD retweeted and later updated, saying the woman was taken into custody. They thanked Santoro and the community members for helping capture the SUV thief.
So this just happened.
This guy just stopped traffic because he found his wife’s stolen car. The woman driving it ran off. This happened in Venice. If anyone knows how to get this to the authorities please send them this video. pic.twitter.com/U3bWYe7lRU

With the help of social media and witnesses, along with the dumb luck of spotting the stolen car in the first place, a happy wife got her Mazda back that day.
