The Model 3 is continually being updated and the latest updates include:
- A standard autopilot safety feature which assesses the possibility of a collision and if this is detected, it steers the car back into its lane. The feature is automatic but can be disabled if preferred.
- There is an update to the feature which prevents the car drifting into another lane or off the road, instead of receiving only a warning, the car is automatically returned back to its original position.
- There is an improvement to Sentry mode, allowing you to enable the feature by default when the car is parked. Sentry mode helps ensure the safety of the car.
- There has been a further improvement to the on board graphics.
In order to access the updates, make sure you go into your software preferences and select ‘advanced’.
