The F-Series won the distinction of Truck Line of Texas again, earning the majority decision among 70 Texas journalists. The F-Series earned the same title at the 2014 Texas Truck Rodeo.
The 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum unseated the Jeep Grand Cherokee as the SUV of Texas, a title that it had held for five consecutive years. The new Explorer Platinum is powered by a 365-horsepower 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, and exclusive technologies including multi-adjustable Nirvana leather front seats and a 500-watt Sony® Audio System complete with Clear Phase™ and Live Acoustics™ make it a suitably luxurious choice for high-class Texans.
Pro Trailer Backup Assist will premiere with the 2016 F-150 later this year. A control knob on the center console enables drivers to steer their trailer independently while the truck steers itself accordingly.
