Ford Mustang and F-Series Burn Up Vegas, Win Two SEMA Awards
Is it hot in here or is it just Ford? With the conclusion of the 2013 Special Equipment Market Association (SEMA), Ford has joined the list of things too hot to handle after receiving two of the four SEMA Awards—Hottest Car for the Ford Mustang and Hottest Truck for the F-Series.
The Ford Mustang and F-Series were seen as some of the best cars to accessorize with specialty equipment and showcased some of the coolest available products this year. They were the highest trending vehicle models according to SEMA Show Exhibitors.
“The SEMA Show has always been the annual event where the newest and most innovative products are seen first,” said Chris J. Kersting, SEMA president and CEO. “The SEMA Award celebrates the industry’s unique ability to identify and set the trends that influence consumers worldwide.”
Along with the Ford Mustang and F-Series winning the SEMA awards for Hottest Car and Truck, the Hottest Sport Compact category was won by the Scion FR-S and the Jeep Wrangler won the Hottest 4×4 SUV.
