A couple weeks ago, I took an in-depth look at the Subaru Love Promise, a multi-fold effort by the automaker to improve the states of learning, the environment, global assistance, and animal treatment around the world.
During the month of August, Subaru of America is focusing on a certain branch of the Subaru Love Promise: education. By partnering with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and with Adopt a Classroom, Subaru aims to impact the future of over 50,000 students through “Subaru Loves Learning.”
Subaru Loves Education Program Brings
As the latest step in Subaru’s philanthropic efforts, the automaker is targeting schools across the country where aid is needed most. Subaru’s purpose for partnering with the AAAS and AdoptAClassroom.org is to fund the distribution of supplies and books to students in need. By providing young learners with the tools they need in the classroom, Subaru aims to improve educational experiences across America.
“Subaru Loves Learning is all about making the pursuit of knowledge as attainable as possible and we are proud to work alongside The American Association for the Advancement of Science and AdoptAClassroom.org to continue working towards that goal,” stated Thomas J. Doll, President and COO of Subaru of America. “We hope that through these programs, Subaru and our retailers nationwide can help provide students and teachers with the tools they need to educate and inspire the next generation.”
Subaru worked with the non-profit AAAS organization last year during its highly-successful book drive donation, and that partnership continues with the donation of more science textbooks this year. More than 40,000 books will be donated by Subaru dealerships across the country. And by working with AdoptAClassroom.org, Subaru retailers will be giving supply packages to classrooms to 300 teachers who need assistance stocking supplies. Check out the website to find out how you can participate.
As proven yet again, the Subaru Love Promise isn’t just about making a statement to the automaker’s potential customers; it’s about making a real difference in communities by constantly impacting health, the environment, and education. You’ve probably been impacted by the Subaru Love Promise and haven’t even realized it.
