When people go on a vacation, especially a vacation to Caribbean islands like Jamaica, they usually want to explore as much of the area as possible. However, that is easier said than done. One of the largest challenges during any vacation is finding a reliable way to get around, which is precisely why Island Routes Caribbean Adventures is offering a new way for vacationers to explore Jamaica.
Island Routes Caribbean Adventures is set to offer MINI Cooper tours of Jamaica to visitors of the island.
Starting March 1, guests can participate in what Island Routes is calling MINI-Routes. These MINI-Route expeditions will allow for travelers to explore different destinations across the island of Jamaica. In order to travel from place to place, they will be provided with a MINI Cooper vehicle to drive.
Among the MINI Cooper vehicles in the Island Routes fleet are two-door and four-door options, as well as convertible MINI Cooper models.
Throughout the tours, participating guests will be accompanied by an island guide, who will not only lead the way to each destination, but will also provide information about the various areas on the tour.
“I’ve had the privilege of living the ‘island life’ and it’s something I truly value, so it’s very satisfying for my team and me to share our island and home region with the world,” says Adam Stewart, CEO of Island Routes. “We’re constantly looking for ways to engage all ages and offer experiences that everyone will love.”
The MINI Cooper experiences in Jamaica will be separated into two separate routes: The MINI-Route Negril and the MINI-Route Ocho-Rios. Each route will explore a different area of the island.
During the MINI-Route Negril expedition, guests will have to opportunity to stop at a local coconut vendor, enjoy Negril’s Seven Mile Beach, meet cliff-divers at Rick’s Café, and sample authentic Jamaican Jerk cuisine.
Meanwhile, guests who embark on the MINI-Route Ocho-Rios experience will be able to visit Dunn’s River Falls, sample Jamaican delicacies and desserts, and discover the history of Jamaica’s Discovery Bay.
Both expeditions begin and end at Montego Bay and last approximately six and a half hours. Tours cost $225 per person for a minimum of two people. You can choose to tour alone, but you will still need to pay the standard price for two participants if you do so.
Those interested in the MINI-Routes from Island Tours should note that participants must be 23 years of age or older to operate one of the MINI vehicles and must provide a valid drivers license. Tours are also weather permitting and subject to cancellation given certain weather conditions.
Thanks to Island Routes Caribbean Adventures, MINI Cooper vehicles will be able to take ya to Jamaica.
