Yesterday, during the 2016 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS), Jeep let loose one of the most highly anticipated Jeep vehicles yet—the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk.

This ruggedly handsome Grand Cherokee is designed specifically for adventures off-road. It’s equipped with a 4×4 system, hill ascent control that helps drivers get up steep climbs, skid plates to keep the vehicle’s underbelly safe, and an air suspension to keep the Trailhawk’s ride as smooth as possible. Style-wise, it takes its front fascia straight from the 2012 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Moab concept, while also offering consumers the choice of 18- or 20-inch wheels, a black hood decal, and red tow hooks.

If your blood runs a bit richer, though, and an off-road ready vehicle isn’t really your thing, don’t worry—the Grand Cherokee Summit also debuted during the 2016 NYIAS and I have to say, it’s quite posh.

The Summit taking the stage in its opulent glory at the 2016 NYIAS
The 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit is the model’s top-of-the-line trim. With an updated grille, new LED fog lamps, and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, the Summit is the embodiment of class on the outside—but it is truly opulent inside.
Inside the Summit’s cabin, Jeep takes luxury to the next level with full-wrap Laguna leather and a Nappa leather-wrapped dashboard, center console, and door panels. The Indigo and Ski Gray color schemes is one of four options available. With an acoustic windshield, lighted door sill, Active Noise Cancellation, and a Harmon/Kardon 19-speaker audio system with three subwoofers, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit is true luxury.
And it’s even off-road capable with Jeep’s 4×4 system and air suspension—not that you’ll want to take this pretty little thing off-roading.
Both models are hitting the dealerships this fall, so prepare yourselves—and your bank accounts—for their arrival.
