KeyCorp CEO Beth Mooney Joins Ford Board of Directors
Beth Mooney, the chairperson and CEO of KeyCorp, is the latest person elected to the Ford Board of Directors. Mooney brings the board’s membership total to 14 and brings with her more than 35 years of experience in real estate finance, commercial lending, and retail banking.
“Beth is a proven leader with a wealth of experience and deep understanding of the financial industry,” said Executive Chairman Bill Ford. “With extensive banking and business expertise, she brings a unique perspective that will enhance the board during this transformational time in our company and the industry.”

Mooney joins the board as a member of its Audit and Nominating & Governance committees. She is best known for her current role as the CEO of KeyCorp, a role she has held since 2011, and as a member of its board since 2010. Mooney first joined KeyCorp in 2006 when she took the role of vice chair for Key Community Bank. Prior to starting her career with KeyCorp, Mooney held senior roles at financial institutions including AmSouth Bancorporation (now Regions Financial Corp.) and Bank One Corp.
In addition to her current duties with KeyCorp, Mooney is a director at AT&T; the board chair of Cleveland Clinic; a member of the boards for Catalyst and The Conference Board; a member of the Supervisory Board for The Clearing House, the Business Roundtable, and the Committee of 200; a director at The Bank Policy Institute and the chair of its BITS technology-policy division; and president of the Federal Advisory Council. She may or may not also be the patron saint of time management and good scheduling techniques.
