The all-new 2017 Kia Cadenza is perfect for those consumers looking for a large sedan

Kia is taking a bite out of the Big Apple. The South Korean carmaker has used the 2016 New York International Auto Show to set the stage for the unveiling of the 2017 Kia Cadenza. This large sedan has taken affordable luxury to the next level in its second generation.

“The new Cadenza adds an extra dose of excitement to the large-car segment with its striking, aggressively handsome looks and premium refinements,” said Orth Hedrick, vice president of product planning for Kia Motors America. “Everything you see and touch in the Cadenza’s cabin has been improved, but it’s underneath where the Cadenza truly shines with a stiffer lighter chassis, eight-speed transmission, and vastly improved driving dynamics.”

When it comes to handsome cars, the Cadenza is one of the most attractive. This second-generation large sedan offers clean, simple lines that exude confidence, while its soft curves and angular body creases create a sleek, sexy silhouette. The most notable aspect of the Cadenza’s exterior design though is its newly designed front fascia. While the sedan still features Kia’s signature tiger-nose grille, it has transformed the grill into a hexagonal shape, which emphasizes the vehicle’s width. It is truly the cherry on top of the sundae that is the Kia Cadenza.

The 2017 Cadenza is playing off its predecessor’s success with a luxuriously crafted cabin, innovative technology that will keep everyone connected on the road, and a lighter, more rigid body structure. Kia has created an interior that offers a wraparound dashboard, rear stitching throughout, and higher quality materials. When you step into the Cadenza, it will be hard to ignore its opulence.

Kia is set to put the second-generation on dealer lots in late 2016. Pricing will be announced closer to the launch date.
