MINI Carbon Edition Is Most Powerful MINI Hardtop 4 Door Ever
Introducing the MINI Carbon Edition
Just because MINI’s cars are, well, mini, does not mean they can’t pack a helluva punch. In fact, the MINI Hardtop 4 Door is surprisingly powerful. And the most powerful of them all (and the loudest and fastest)? Why, that’s the all-new MINI Carbon Edition, which will only be available via special order at your local dealer.
Just how much of a monster is the MINI Carbon Edition? For starters, it packs 208 horsepower and receives a John Cooper Works Pro Tuning Kit and a valve exhaust system, with an exhaust flap that drivers can operate via a Bluetooth control with just two clicks. Doing so will amp up the noise, allowing for what MINI calls “devilish backfire pops and crackling sound on the overrun.”
The Carbon Edition also gets carbon fiber accessories, including the carbon fiber mirror caps, as well as air intake trim and tailpipe finishers. The Midnight Black MINI Carbon Edition sits on 17-inch John Cooper Works Track Spoke Black Wheels and sports a rear spoiler.
On the inside, the Carbon Edition benefits from an 8.8-inch high-res screen with navigation, as well as heated seats and a John Cooper Works steering wheel. Completing the ensemble is a sunroof and the Harman/Kardon premium audio system.
