New Kia Dealership in London Biggest Dealership for Brand in Europe
Kia is looking to expand its European dealership network—so what better way to do it than open its biggest showroom yet? The South Korean carmaker recently opened its biggest dealership in Europe in the London area.
The dealership, which is nestled along the M4 motorway between Heathrow airport and Central London, operates on four levels, including a 15-bay workshop. It also has massive glass windows that face the A4 directly, showcasing brand-new models and a LCD display screen that will enhance the commute of those living both inside and outside of London.
“The opening of this flagship London dealership highlights our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, and to expanding the capacity of our network to support our continuous sales growth,” said Michael Cole, Chief Operating Officer of Kia Motors Europe. “The strengthening of our brand representation in metropolitan markets is an important part of our dealer expansion and enhancement strategy—and projects similar to London are underway in many other major European cities, with very impressive new dealer facilities recently completed in both Madrid and Milan.”
This new dealership is helping establish Kia as a more global brand. Over the past year, the South Korean carmaker has seen an impressive increase in its global sales, just recently reporting a 4.8% increase in August. The brand is continuing to set new sales record in Europe month over month with a 14.8% growth so far this year. This will make 2016 the company’s eight year in a row of record sales.
