Customization
With the Uconnect 5 system, you can create a personalized home screen by including your most frequently used features here. And on the center screen, cluster screen, or Head-up Display, you can keep an eye on the information you value most, such as the powertrain temperatures. In addition, if you share your Ram pickup with your family or coworkers, you can make up to five user profiles, which store everyone’s vehicle operation and music preferences.
Smartphone connectivity
You can connect your phone to the Uconnect 5 system with wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. And a passenger can also connect their phone at the same time, so you each can control the music, get directions to your destination, and send text messages using the touch screen or your voice.
Amazon Alexa
The Uconnect 5 system comes with Amazon Alexa as well. You can ask Alexa to do anything like play a song, check the weather, and add a task to your to-do list.
Ram Telematics
The Ram Telematics feature now allows fleet owners to monitor vehicles through a third-party fleet data collection company. This makes it easier to keep up with maintenance and organize routes.
The Telematics Box Module
With the Telematics Box Module, the infotainment system can receive updates over the air. Plus, it can work with the Vehicle Health Alert, Vehicle Health Report, and Ram mobile apps.
The Uconnect app
You can download the Uconnect app onto your smartphone to keep connected to your Ram truck outside the cabin. It has the ability to receive notifications about your vehicle as well as remotely start the engine and unlock the doors.
All of these features make the Uconnect 5 system the most advanced in-cabin technology available for Ram models.
