Ram Truck Named Presenting Sponsor of AMSOIL Championship Snocross
For most of the country, Snocross is a sport that is only seen once a year during the X-Games that proves impossible to look away from. For those who compete at the highest level of snowmobile racing, it’s a religion that carries them from track to track throughout the winter.
It’s no wonder, then, that 83.7 percent of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross audience owns a pickup truck and 68.9 percent own a trailer; they have to get their snowmobiles from race to race somehow. That is why the Ram Truck brand knew it had to get involved in the sport, and this year, Ram has been named the presenting sponsor for AMSOIL Championship Snocross.
“Ram Truck is pleased to be able to expand our relationship with ISOC,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO of Ram Truck Brand, in a press release. “From the crew that designs, develops and builds Ram trucks, to our loyal owners, to the teams that compete in AMSOIL Championship Snocross, the sport is in our blood.”
But this partnership is not just beneficial for Ram. A partnership with Ram will allow Snocross to reach a whole new fan base and continue to grow in America, and it’s safe to say they’re pretty excited about it.
“We can’t begin to tell you how pumped we are to have Ram Truck on board as the presenting sponsor for AMSOIL Championship Snocross,” said AMSOIL Championship Snocross’ President and Race Director, Carl Schubitzke.
If Ram helps us see snowmobile racing more than one time a year, we’re “pumped” too. How about you? Let us in the comments below!
