Ricky Carmichael Checks Out 2016 Colorado Special Edition Trucks
With 15 Motocross and Supercross championships, Ricky Carmichael has earned the title of greatest Motocross racer of all time. If you’ve seen “The GOAT” race before, you are no doubt familiar with his prowess, but you really haven’t lived until you’ve watched him jump over the 2015 Ricky Carmichael Performance Concept truck, as he does in the first few seconds of this new video from Chevrolet Performance.
Take a look:
Carmichael wasn’t in the video to admire (or fly over) his namesake concept pickup, but rather to check out the two 2016 Colorado Special Edition models, which include the Midnight Edition and the 2016 Trail Boss Edition. Chevrolet Communications Manager Otie McKinley is on hand to provide a rundown of both custom trucks.
The all-black 2016 Chevy Colorado Midnight Edition’s list of features includes a black bowtie and grille, 18-inch black wheels, chrome door sill plates, and a black tonneau cover for the pickup bed. The 2016 Colorado Z71 Trail Boss Edition distinguishes itself with a set of 17-inch black wheels, black front and rear fender flares, off-road assist steps, and a sport bar that’s familiar to Carmichael as the same one featured on the Ricky Carmichael Performance Concept.
For fans of Chevrolet Performance videos, the question now becomes: which driver proved to be a better actor in their video, Carmichael or Dale Earnhardt Jr.?
