Visually Powerful Kia Forte GT-Line Arrives in Chicago
The 2019 Chicago Auto Show brought many exciting vehicles to its show floor and Kia made sure to make an impression with its lineup. Along with the 2020 Sportage making its debut, the performance-based 2020 Kia Forte GT-Line trim wowed show-goers.

On the outside, the Forte GT-Line receives race-inspired features like a gloss black grille with red accents as well as graphite-finished 17-inch sport alloy wheels and projector headlights with Daytime Running Lights. The gloss black finish also reaches to the sport side sills, the rear spoiler on the deck lid, and along the heated outside power mirrors.
Inside, alloy sport pedals and a flat-bottom steering wheel with white stitching match the performance-inspired exterior of the GT-Line Forte. The theme continues with black cloth sport seats with white stitching throughout the cabin, while the front seats get side bolsters.
The upgrades to the Forte are only visual, though, as the vehicle maintains its 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission. Together, the powertrain can pump out 147 horsepower, keeping in line with other Forte models.
