Volkswagen has announced it will support PeopleForBikes for an additional two years to help make bicycling better across the United States.
Since 2012, Volkswagen has helped the non-profit organization reach nearly five million riders at 165 bike and lifestyle events throughout the country. Additionally, Volkswagen and PeopleForBikes have nearly doubled the number of protected bike lanes across the nation, and engaged more than 800,000 Americans in a movement for better biking.

“Volkswagen is extremely devoted to environmental sustainability and encouraging healthy lifestyles,” said Vinay Shahani, vice president of marketing, Volkswagen of America. “We’re excited to continue our partnership with PeopleForBikes and encourage our owners to get out and ride safely throughout the year.”
