Watch the 2016 Honda Civic Debut Live on YouTube
The all-new tenth-generation 2016 Honda Civic Sedan will be simultaneously debuting in several places at once—Los Angeles, Detroit, and, if you so choose, your living room.
The Los Angeles premiere will take place on September 16th at 6:15 pm PDT (9:15 pm ET), which fans will be able to stream live on the YouTube Space LA page. This will mark the first time that a vehicle has been introduced at the YouTube Space LA.
In addition to the unveiling of a redesigned Civic that Honda is touting as “the most ambitious remake in its 43-year history,” viewers will also be treated to a performance by alternative rock band Night Riots.
The 2016 Honda Civic Sedan will probably look an awful lot like the sporty Civic concept that graced the New York International Auto Show back in April, which is a good thing. The Japanese automaker has promised that the new Civic lineup will include Sedan, Coupe, and Si models, along with America’s first five-door Civic hatchback.
Most tantalizingly, Honda is also promising “an all-new, radically powerful Civic Type-R” as part of the company’s efforts to bring performance enthusiasts back into the fold. Here’s hoping that Honda will reveal a little more about the new Type-R at the Civic Sedan’s debut.
