This Weekend: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles at the San Antonio Auto Show
Listen up, Texans with nothing to do this weekend. Last weekend might have been all about Mötley Crüe at the Dodge Rocks Gas Monkey Dallas concert event, but this weekend, it’s all about Fiat Chrysler Automobiles at the San Antonio Auto Show. The automaker will feature a number of new vehicles, as well as interactive experiences, all weekend long at the show.
“The San Antonio Auto Show provides a great opportunity to showcase our newest vehicles,” said Shannon T. Carr, the director of the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Group Southwest Business Center. “Consumers visiting our displays also have the opportunity to enter our national vehicle giveaway contest and participate in our Ram Ride and Drive outside the convention center.”
The Chrysler display will include the award-winning 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan, which was named the “Mid-Size Sedan of Texas” by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA).

On display in the Dodge section, to no one’s surprise, will be the 2015 Dodge Challenger, along with the R/T Scat Pack and 392 HEMI® Scat Pack Shaker models.

Fiat will be featuring the 500C, the 500 Abarth, and the 500L. Visitors can get a free T-shirt when visiting.

As expected, Jeep will be showcasing the new-for-2015 Jeep Renegade. Also on display will be the Grand Cherokee (named the “SUV of Texas” by TAWA), the Cherokee (named the “Compact SUV of Texas” by TAWA), and the Wrangler Unlimited (named the “Off-Road SUV of Texas” by TAWA). Visitors can get a free T-shirt when visiting.

But Texas loves trucks, which is why Ram will have the biggest presence. On display will be the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, which has won the “Truck of Texas” award from TAWA twice and which was also named Motor Trend’s “Truck of the Year.” The truck also just won the “Green Truck of the Year” award given out by Green Car Journal. Also on display will be the Ram 2500, the “Heavy Duty Pickup of Texas” (named by—you guessed it—TAWA). Ram will also put its ProMaster on display and will hold a Ram Ride and Drive event.

But that’s not all that’s going on this weekend. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will also allow visitors to enter the 2014 Nation Giveaway, which will give the winner $45,000 to be put toward any eligible Fiat Chrysler Automobiles vehicle. Plus, every hour, someone wearing the T-shirt given out by Jeep and Fiat will win a $25 American Express gift card.
