Ram Reveals Rebel Delmonico Red Paint Job During Houston Auto Show
Ram sure does love adding new color schemes to the trucks in its lineup. Everything from RV Match Walnut Brown to Copper Sport has recently been introduced to the ever-growing rainbow of Ram exterior colors.
Now another color is ready to join the Ram ranks, as Ram unveiled the Rebel Delmonico Red paint job during the Houston Auto Show.
More Ram Color Schemes: 2016 Limited Edition Ram Stinger Yellow 1500 Sport Announced
Ram already has a red color scheme for the 2017 Ram 1500 Rebel: Flame Red. However, Delmonico Red is a darker shade of red, adding an air of sophistication to the brand’s signature off-road model.
Delmonico Red will join the established exterior color lineup for the Ram Rebel, which includes Flame Red, as well as Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Brilliant Black, Granite Crystal Metallic, and Mojave Sand. Furthermore, the Delmonico Red color scheme is available for the Ram Rebel at no additional cost, making it an option for every Ram Rebel driver.
Delmonico Red can be equipped to the 2017 Ram Rebel in either a monochromatic exterior design or a two-toned exterior, paired with black lower panels. Inside, the Ram Rebel Delmonico Red model is defined by a black and grey interior design.
During the Houston Auto Show, Ram also revealed that its lineup of Ram Limited premium models would now be available with body-color tailgate letters and side steps. Previously, these features were only available in chrome.
Going Off-Road?: Must-Have Off-Roading Tools
“Truck buyers are looking for new colors and features that make a statement and allow them to stand out from the crowd,” said Mike Manley, Head of Ram Trucks. “Whether it’s the off-road-enthusiast appeal of the Ram 1500 Rebel or the luxury and sophistication of the Ram Limited, Ram trucks deliver features and durability that are winning over more and more owners.”
If your favorite color isn’t currently available for the Ram lineup of vehicles, don’t worry too much. It is probably only a matter of time before Ram announces its addition to the brand’s exterior paint palette.
