Three Infiniti Vehicles Receive Top Honors from Edmunds
Infiniti has three more honors to add to its long list of accolades this week. The Japanese carmaker just announced that the brand received recognition from Edmunds.com, one of the best known car websites in the industry, for not one or two, but three Infiniti vehicles.
The car website recognized the 2014 Infiniti Q50 luxury sedan, QX60 SUV, and QX80 SUV for separate awards at the 2014 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS). The Q50 was awarded a coveted spot on Edmunds “Top Rate Vehicles” list, while the QX60 was named one of the “2014 Most Popular on Edmunds.com Midrange Luxury SUVs,” and the QX80 was one of the “Most Popular on Edmunds.com Premium Luxury SUVs.”
Edmunds.com evaluates an estimated 200 cars per year, so when three Infiniti vehicles receive top honors from Edmunds, you know they must be doing something right. All the cars studied are taken through a standardized road test loop, evaluated on a test track, and then graded against its competitors in each segment. The Infiniti Q50 luxury sedan was a top student in testing, receiving an “A” rating compared to its segment rivals.
It’s really no surprise that the Q50, QX60, and QX80 received such high honors. The Q50 offers a sexy sedan styling, high quality performance, and innovative technology, while the QX60 turned its segment on its head with its novel styling cues and comfortable three-row seating. Finally, the 2014 QX80 stands alone in the full-size luxury SUV class with top-notch amenities.
