2015 Buick Enclave Overview
What’s New for the 2015 Buick Enclave?
The 2015 Buick Enclave is mostly unchanged from the 2014 model in terms of important content. Read up on the slight (though still beneficial) updates here.
2015 Buick Enclave Exterior
The newest Enclave is offered in three trims (groups): Convenience, Leather, and Premium. Standard exterior features on the Convenience trim include 18-inch wheels, automatic xenon headlights, heated mirrors, a power liftgate, rear parking sensors, and rear privacy glass. The Leather trim bumps the wheels up to 19 inches, and the Premium trim adds adaptive headlights and power-folding and auto-dimming mirrors. Optional exterior features on Leather and Premium are 20-inch wheels and a dual-panel sunroof.
While physically bulky, the Enclave provides a smooth ride.
2015 Buick Enclave Performance
Under the hood, the Enclave sports a 3.6-liter V6 that lays down 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque; the engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but drivers can opt for all-wheel drive. The 2015 Enclave boasts a 0 – 60 sprint of just 8.6 seconds and can tow up to 4,500 lbs.
As mentioned above, the Enclave gives a smooth and quiet ride.
2015 Buick Enclave Efficiency
The EPA has estimated the front-wheel-drive model at 24 mpg highway and 17 mpg city, for a combined 19 mpg. The all-wheel-drive model drops down to 22 mpg highway, 16 mpg city, and 18 mpg combined.
2015 Buick Enclave Interior
Interior features on the Convenience group include an auto-dimming rearview mirror, cruise control, an eight-way power driver seat with two-way lumbar adjustment, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a two-way power passenger seat. Cool tech included on Convenience includes a 6.5-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, dual USB charge ports, the IntelliLink electronics interface, OnStar telematics, a rearview camera, and a six-speaker sound system, which boasts an auxiliary audio jack, a CD player, an iPod/USB audio interface, and satellite radio.
The Leather trim adds an eight-way power seat, heated front seats, leather upholstery, and a power-adjustable steering wheel, while Premium tacks on a 10-speaker Bose sound system and heated and ventilated from seats.
The Enclave features an attractive, high-quality interior, but more importantly, it is incredibly spacious—for both cargo and passengers. With both the second and third rows out of play, the Enclave boasts 115.2 cubic feet of cargo room.
2015 Buick Enclave Safety
All 2015 Buick Enclave models are standard with antilock brakes, front outboard side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, a large airbag between the front seats, OnStar, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and stability and traction control. Leather and Premium add a blind-spot warning system and cross-traffic alert, while Premium alone includes forward-collision alert and lane-departure warning (optional on Leather).
The Enclave has earned a 5-Star Overall Safety score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the highest rating of “Good” in several tests from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
