The 2014 Corvette Stingray was priced at just $53,000, despite being a performance beast and, not to mention, the 2014 North American Car of the Year. One would expect that, after such a successful year for the Stingray, that Chevy might hike the 2015 Corvette Stingray pricing up a fair amount. One would be wrong, however.

Actually, 2015 Corvette Stingray pricing will begin at the exact same level. The standard coupes and convertibles will start at $53,000 once again. The Z51 coupes and convertibles, however, will go up $1,000 a piece, now that the NPP performance exhaust (a $1,195 option last year) is standard.

Trim level pricing does not vary much. The 2LT drops in price by $60, now at just an extra $4,160. The 3LT pricing rockets up, however, by $1,445 to $9,450.

While the seven-speed manual gearbox with rev matching is standard for the base and Z51 (and thus included in the MSRP), the all-new eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters will take the cost up by $1,725. Furthermore, drivers can opt for the Performance Data Recorder with Navigation on the 1LT and 2LT trims for an extra $1,795; this will be included in the 3LT package. Finally, drivers can also go with the ZF1 option for their non-Z51 Stingrays to produce the same external appearance; this will up the cost by $1,995.
