John Hennessey is Not Impressed with 2015 Mustang GT 0-150 MPH Time
Disclaimer: an 11.2-second 0-60 mph sprint is not slow by any stretch
You’d think that there almost couldn’t be anything about a car that goes 150 miles per hour with relative ease that could be considered slow. One such vehicle would be the 2015 Mustang GT, which generates 435 horsepower and is, by all accounts, a powerful beast.
Of course, John Hennessey is not of this earth, and he intends to modify the 2015 Mustang GT in order to up its output to 717 horses. By that accord, the stock GT’s 435-horsepower V8 may as well be a puttering thing, which is part of what makes Hennessey’s test video so entertaining.

To be clear, Hennessey is impressed with the 2015 Mustang GT after dyno testing it and putting a couple hundred miles on it, calling it easy and fun to drive.
When he gets it out on the track, he pushes it from 0 to 100 mph in 11.2 seconds and 0-140 mph in 22.25 seconds. He seems less than pleased, however, about the 49.27 seconds it takes for the Mustang to reach 150 miles per hour.
“Took forever to get to 150,” he calmly states over the roar of the engine. “I mean forever.”
Well, we’re quite sure John will fix that up quite nicely with the HPE700.
