2016 MINI Hardtop 4 Door Exterior
The main draw of this hatchback’s exterior is—you guessed it—its handy four doors. Never again will your passengers have to scramble to get into the back seats. The four doors boast sleek chrome handles, and the Hardtop 4 Door also offers 15-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, heated side mirrors, LED foglights, a hood scoop, and more.

2016 MINI Hardtop 4 Door Performance
The 2016 MINI Cooper Hardtop 4 Door is powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine that makes 134 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels by a six-speed manual transmission, and a six-speed Steptronic automatic transmission is also available.
Choose the Cooper S model and you’ll get a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbocharged engine. This engine is good for 189 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque, and also comes with a standard six-speed manual transmission and an optional six-speed automatic.

2016 MINI Hardtop 4 Door Efficiency
One of the most awesome things about driving a small car is great fuel economy, and the 2016 MINI Hardtop 4 Door doesn’t disappoint. The Cooper manual model yields 29 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway for a combined mpg rating of 33. The Cooper S model’s numbers are slightly lower at 26/33/29 mpg city/highway/combined for the automatic transmission and 23/33/27 for the manual.

Inside the 2016 MINI Hardtop 4 Door, you’ll be happy to find the usual retro fittings and various accessories designed to allow you to really personalize your ride. Standard features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, a refrigerated glovebox, vinyl seats, and color-adjustable ambient lighting. Accessories include colorfully patterned floor mats, a headrest coat hanger, a headrest iPad holder, and Union Jack illuminated door sills.
