Your chances of getting lost or being disconnected in the 2019, 2020 Chevy Camaro are super slim thanks to the new Navigation Upgrade Kit recently released by General Motors.

According to GM Authority writer Alex Luft, if you’re behind the wheel of a 2019 or 2020 Chevy Camaro that doesn’t provide navigation tech, you can upgrade easily to the navigation assistance as long as your current Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus System boasts the 8-inch touch screen. If your Camaro has the 7-inch touch screen, you can’t benefit from the Navigation Upgrade Kit.

“Hence, the nav upgrade kit is only available on the 1LT, 2LT, LT1, and 1SS trim levels starting with the 2019 and 2020 Camaro models. Lower end models (such as the LS) have the basic 7-inch system that’s not compatible with this upgrade, while up-level models (like the 3LT, 2SS, and ZL1) already have the system with built-in navigation,” reports Luft.

If your Camaro is a 2019 or 2020 model year and is equipped with an 8-inch screen, you can add the nav upgrade kit to your ride for approximately $425. You’ll have to check with your specific dealer for the final price, though.

“If Apple CarPlay and Android Auto isn’t really your cup of tea, then this Camaro navigation upgrade kit provides an easy and fairly inexpensive way to gain built-in navigation functionality,” according to Luft. “But those interested should really make sure that their Camaro is equipped with the 8-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus System (RPO code IOS).”
