2019 Honda Ridgeline Overview

The 2019 Honda Ridgeline offers true versatility and capable performance. Named the “Best Mid-Size Pickup Truck” by Car and Driver Magazine in 2018, the 2019 model continues to live up to that legacy. With its smooth ride and sharp handling, the 2019 Ridgeline is the truck for anyone who values a sophisticated drive over any terrain.

What’s New for the 2019 Honda Ridgeline?

The 2019 Ridgeline received some minor changes and enhancements this year, including power sliding rear windows and a moonroof as standard features on the RTL and RTL-T models. There are also two standard USB ports across the RT, Sport, and RTL models.

The 2019 Honda Ridgeline is available in six trims: RT, Sport, RTL, RTL-T, RTL-E, and Black Edition. All-wheel drive is available on the Sport, RTL, and RTL-T trims, and it is standard on the RTL-E and Black Edition models.

Exterior

The 2019 Honda Ridgeline features an aerodynamic exterior that helps reduce wind noise and improve fuel economy. With standard LED taillights and a Dual-Action Tailgate that lets you conveniently access the In-Bed Trunk, it makes it easy to travel anywhere with the Ridgeline and the 83-inch trunk bed with the tailgate down.

Performance

Every trim on the 2019 Honda Ridgeline features a 3.5-liter V6 engine under the hood. With the help of a six-speed automatic transmission and 4-wheel independent suspension, it generates 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, the pickup truck has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds for 2WD models and 5,000 pounds for AWD models.

Efficiency

The 2019 Honda Ridgeline’s efficiency ratings remain unchanged from 2018. With a unit-body construction, it achieves 19/26/22 mpg city/highway/combined in 2WD and 18/25/21 mpg city/highway/combined in AWD.

Interior

The 2019 Ridgeline offers seating for five people and 109 cubic feet of interior space, and it fills its cabin with a comfortable elegance without sacrificing its functionality. With available blue and red ambient LED lighting and leather-trimmed seat, the rugged exterior of this compact pickup features a versatile interior  with 60/40 split lift-up rear seats and a 10-way power driver’s seat. Technologies such as a 540-watt Premium Audio System, HondaLink, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration keep you connected to your favorite audio and phone apps in the Ridgeline.
