WardsAuto saved a spot on its “10 Best Interiors List” for the well-equipped, redesigned 2019 Nissan Kicks. Earning the distinction at the New York International Auto Show, the Kicks impressed the panel of eight editors with its advanced technology, premium Bose Personal Plus Audio System, refined interior, and especially its remarkable value. Of all 32 vehicles evaluated by the editors, the 2019 Kicks has the lowest Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price.

“With a $23,330 sticker price, the Kicks comes in way below the $36,000 average price of a new car in the U.S., and yet the interior (and heck, the exterior too!) reflects no bare-bones mentality or cost-challenged design shortcuts,” according to WardsAuto managing editor Tom Murphy and senior editor Christie Schweinsberg.

The editors also noted that the interior of the Kicks is equipped with lush materials and bright colors that decorate its comfy seats and cabin.

“Our judges also appreciated the ergonomics, finding everything within easy reach in the Kicks, and they liked its excellent around-view monitor and curbside cameras,” report Murphy and Schweinsberg.

The 2019 Kicks is available at three trim levels — S, SV, and SR. A standard 1.6-liter DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder engine with Continuous Variable Valve Timing Control System is expertly paired to an Xtronic transmission to generate 122 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque.
