2020 Chevy Equinox Will Receive Midnight Edition
If you’re a fan of the Chevy Equinox, you’re probably familiar with the Midnight Edition that was available on the 2017 model year. And if you’ve been missing this dramatically dark version of the popular SUV, you’re in luck. The brand is bringing this special offering back for 2020.

- 19-inch Gloss Black aluminum alloy wheels

- Unique mold-in-color black grille and mesh with black surround, plus front and rear black badging

Package availability and exclusions
Like with many packages, though, this one comes with a few caveats for adding it to your new 2020 Equinox. According to GM Authority, Chevy will offer this package on only the 1LT and 2LT trims that are equipped with the Confidence and Convenience package. In addition, if you opt for the Midnight Edition package, you won’t be able to add black bowtie emblems, or the Chrome and Blackout packages.
The new Midnight Edition package is set to arrive ahead of the model’s anticipated refresh for the 2021 model year, per GM Authority. It’s a strategic way to distinguish the Equinox from its rivals in a competitive segment.
