Stylish, sophisticated, and powerful, the all-new 2020 Hyundai Palisade provides a comfortable ride and roomy seating for up to eight passengers — and a generous selection of advanced tech to keep everyone safe and connected. As the largest and most recent addition to Hyundai’s lineup, the Palisade is available at three trim levels: SE, SEL, and Limited.

Something for Everyone: Check out Hyundai’s 2019 lineup

Performance

With its 3.8-liter V6 engine, the 2020 Hyundai Palisade delivers a potent dose of power for hauling, towing, and cruising the highway. Connected to a shift-by-wire eight-speed automatic transmission, the Palisade’s engine puts out 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. It’s also rated to tow up to 5,000 pounds. Despite the Palisade’s large size, it handles smoothly (thanks to an independent multilink rear suspension) and reliably (especially when equipped with available HTRAC all-wheel drive).

Exterior Features

The 2020 Palisade’s exterior offers striking style — and more. Every trim comes equipped with helpful features like LED Daytime Running Lights, pre-wiring for a trailer, a rear window wiper and washer, and privacy glass. Higher trims add options like door handle welcome lights, LED headlights and taillights, roof rails, and a hands-free smart liftgate for easier loading and cargo bay access.

Interior Features

The 2020 Palisade’s versatile, spacious interior can handle a crowd of passengers, a load of cargo, or both. The Palisade is available in either a seven-passenger or eight-passenger configuration, with a power-folding and one-touch sliding second row, a 60/40 split-folding third row, and available heated and ventilated seats. The Palisade’s cargo capacity is 18 cubic feet behind the third row, 45.8 cubic feet behind the second row, and 86.4 feet behind the third row. Interior amenities include underfloor storage; second- and third-row HVAC controls; and available features like ambient LED interior lighting, leather trim, and dual-zone automatic temperature control.

Cutting-Edge Systems: A look at new Hyundai tech for 2019

Infotainment Tech

The 2020 Palisade makes it easy to stay informed and entertained. Standard equipment includes an 8-inch display screen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone syncing, Bluetooth hands-free phone tech, and a Rear Seat Quiet Mode so the driver can listen to audio without disturbing rear passengers. The Limited trim upgrades to a 10.25-inch display with navigation and traffic, a premium Harman Kardon 12-speaker audio system, an in-vehicle intercom, wireless device charging, rear USB ports, and multi-device connectivity.

Safety Equipment

The 2020 Palisade is loaded with standard safety features for more confident family travel. These technologies include a Rear View Monitor with parking guidelines, Parking Distance Warning, Rear Occupant Alert, Driver Attention Warning, Lane Following Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Smart Cruise Control, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection. Higher trims offer even more, like Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, a Blind View Monitor, and a Surround View Monitor.
