As a carryover from the previous model year, the 2020 Kia Stinger doesn’t feature any major visual changes. However, Kia removed the Premium and GTS trims and replaced the 2.0L trim with the GT-Line to help streamline the buying process.

The 2020 Kia Stinger is available at four trim levels: GT-Line, GT, GT1, and GT2.

Performance & Fuel Economy

On the 2020 Kia Stinger GT-Line, the standard engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Combined, this powertrain can get a total 255 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. For the GT, GT1, and GT2 trims, a 3.3-liter twin turbo V6 roars under the hood. When paired with the same eight-speed transmission, the Stinger can get 365 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque.

All trims can be equipped with all-wheel drive, but rear-wheel drive is standard across the board. When it comes to fuel economy, here’s how the 2020 Stinger performs:

Exterior & Interior

Right from the start, the 2020 Kia Stinger is immensely appealing and includes practical features on its exterior to make every drive satisfying. Sound-absorbing front door windows ensure that you can listen to your music without highway noise interrupting while the sunroof with power sunshade lets you enjoy more natural light on your way to work. Moving up to the GT1 trim gets you assistive features like rain-sensing windshield wipers and auto-dimming outside mirrors. And if you need some extra help putting groceries in the back, the Stinger GT2 is equipped with a Smart Power Trunk that automatically opens when you stand behind the vehicle with your Smart Key.

The first thing you’ll notice when you step inside the 2020 Stinger is the abundance of technology enveloped in a modern, sleek cabin. The 12-way power-adjustable leather-trimmed driver’s seat has four-way power lumbar for ultimate comfort. The Stinger GT2 adds two-way side bolsters and a cushion thigh extension, if you’re really looking for that lush feel. When it comes to the tech, every Stinger comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto so you can stay connected on the go. If you consider your vehicle to be your musical oasis, opt for the Harman Kardon QuantumLogic premium audio system that comes with 15 speakers and Clari-Fi music restoration technology.
