November 17 is National Adoption Day. It’s primarily a holiday meant to celebrate families’ adoption of children into their homes. However, we’d like to put a car-themed spin on the occasion by highlighting the benefits of adopting an electric vehicle (EV). Here are just five reasons to consider an EV for your next vehicle.

Even though EVs are relatively new on the market, they offer the same level of safety as fuel-powered models. For one thing, they go through the same rigorous fitness and safety tests. Secondly, the technology automatically cuts off the electricity supply to the battery, as soon as the airbags deploy, to help shield passengers from injuries during an accident.
