Know what’s better than a Subaru BRZ? A special edition Subaru BRZ limited to just 1,000 examples that boasts drag-reducing enhancements, red-painted brake calipers, black finish STI alloy wheels. That’s what you’re getting with the newly announced 2015 BRZ Series.Blue.
All of the things that make the BRZ a beloved beast are still present, including the 200-horsepower 2.0-liter BOXER engine. The 2015 BRZ Series.Blue maximizes all of that power’s potential by adding black STI front, side, and side-rear under spoilers to create additional downforce; while underbody panels reduce coefficient drag by .01.
Additionally, BRZ Series.Blue gets red brake calipers and an exclusive interior trim that includes blue leather seat bolsters and head restraints; blue-and-black leather wrapped steering wheel; and blue accent stitching.

The 1,000 2015 BRZ Series.Blue models will be split evenly between those painted WR Blue Pearl and those painted Crystal White Pearl. All models come with a six-speed manual transmission.
The 2015 Subaru BRZ ($25,695 MSRP) itself boasts improved suspension dampers, larger stainless tailpipe tips, simulated carbon-fiber center dash panel, and roof-mounted and body color shark fin antenna.
The 2015 BRZ Series.Blue will build upon the BRZ Limited trim ($28,795 MSRP), which features manual HVAC system, standard All-Weather Package, body-color trunk spoiler, and Keyless Access. Series.Blue models carry a suggested retail price of $29,490, plus $795 destination and delivery charge.
The 2015 BRZ and the 2015 BRZ Series.Blue are expected to hit dealerships in the coming weeks.
