Now in its third generation, the Kia Forte is even more powerful and more thrilling to drive. The 2020 model arrives with an all-new GT trim equipped with a turbocharged engine under the hood for maximum performance and advanced technology in the cabin to keep you connected on the go.

The 2020 Kia Forte is available at six trims: FE, LXS, GT-Line, EX, GT and GT Manual.

Practically anything is better when it’s neatly wrapped in an attractive, stylish package — and the 2020 Forte is just that. On the outside, the Forte gets inspiration from the sporty Stinger with its flowing fasciae, Kia tiger-nose grille and signature LED lighting. The all-new GT trim adds even more exterior style with red grille inserts, gloss black mirror caps, a rear lip spoiler and more. This elegance extends to the cabin, where you’ll find premium materials from front to back. The Forte LXS features sport seats with SOFINO seat trim with white stitching. That same stitching accent is added to the D-shaped, leather-wrapped steering wheel on the GT-Line trim. But for the most exquisite cabin, choose the 2020 Forte GT, which offers ambient lighting, heated and ventilated front seats and a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support.

Technology

No car is fun to drive if you can’t stay connected to what’s happening around you. The 2020 Forte is filled with the most advanced technology so you can safely stay up-to-date while cruising the streets. Standard on all models is an 8-inch touch-screen display that showcases helpful features like Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Bluetooth® wireless technology lets you connect hands-free while the rear-camera with dynamic parking guidance assists you when backing into those tight spaces. If you live for a first-class music experience, you’ll want to go with the Forte GT-Line that comes with a standard Harman Kardon® premium audio system with Clari-Fi™ music restoration technology, eight speakers and an integrated subwoofer.

Performance & Efficiency

The standard engine for the 2020 Forte is a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder paired with a six-speed manual transmission. While this powertrain isn’t the most spirited option in the Forte lineup, it is highly efficient and still fun to drive, offering up to 37 mpg on the highway. And when you opt for the available Intelligent Continuously Variable Transmission, highway fuel economy increases to 41 mpg.* But if you’re itching for a more thrilling commute, the GT trim should do the job. Under the hood is a powerful 1.6-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder paired to a seven-speed Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission, complete with paddle shifters. And even while it’s producing up to 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, the 2020 Forte GT still gets an impressive 35 mpg on the highway.
