All-New Kia Rio Debuts at Paris Motor Show
The entire industry knew exactly what to expect when Kia unveiled the all-new Rio during the Paris Motor Show, but that doesn’t mean that people weren’t amazed. The Rio, which is the South Korean carmaker’s best-selling model around the world, has undergone some significant changes that are sure to continue the model’s popularity.
Get More Power: See why Kia is introducing a performance-oriented lineup
For the newest generation Rio, Kia has played up the subcompact car’s strengths. This includes making the vehicle’s already stylish design even more so, creating a more enjoyable driving experience, and adding some of the most advanced safety features in its class.
Kia’s design centers in Germany and California worked together to create an exterior that has a beautiful balance of sculpted lines and rounded curves, making the car more distinctive and athletic. Inside the Rio’s cabin, this sophisticated design continues, offering a driver-oriented set up that is considered the most spacious in its class. It even has a larger cargo capacity than last year’s model, which makes this subcompact more practical, too.
A Slew of Awards: Find out why Kia is getting so many awards for its excellence
The carmaker also doesn’t scrimp when it comes to technology in the 2017 Kia Rio. This model will come standard with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® smartphone integration, along with some of the most advanced safety systems Kia has to offer.
This all-new Kia model will go on sale globally during the first quarter of 2017. It will be manufactured at Kia’s Sohari manufacturing plant in Korea and its new Pesqueria manufacturing plant in Mexico.
