Now through October 26, Cadillac House visitors can witness Rosetta Getty’s designs at the venue’s Retail Lab. Per CFDA contributor Alexandria Ramos, this current exhibit is part display, part public retail space.

Getty collaborated with artist Analia Saban to create individualized products, with the goal of each Retail Lab visitor having a unique art piece to take home with them. Some of these items include beach towels and t-shirts printed with Saban and Getty’s designs. Visitors can also browse items from the two creators’ Pre-Fall ’18 and Fall ’18 collections.

Cadillac House intends the exhibit to further both artists’ work. Getty articulated her resonance with Analia’s work, expressing pride in the partnership that the Retail Lab experience has birthed. She also credited Analia with inspiring her own work on this season’s collections.

Clothing isn’t the only product that the designers are selling in the retail space, however. Getty is also selling peanut brittle, to cater to visitors who might be more into sweets than the latest styles. It was also her desire to give back to her local community back at home in LA. The candy is made by the Dominican Nuns from The Monastery of the Angels.

Getty voiced her hope for the Retail Lab, as a tangible way for the average person to experience her brand, female empowerment, and a new type of luxury. Catch this fresh exhibit at Cadillac House to engage with Getty and Saban’s designs firsthand.
