Order Guide Reveals 2015 Corvette Stingray Updates
How do you make the hottest car of 2014 any better for 2015? Chevy has a few ideas. We’ve got the latest on all the 2015 Corvette Stingray updates: what’s leaving, what’s staying, and what’s improving.
For starters, the 2015 Stingray will now be getting a standard 8-speed automatic gearbox with a 2.41 rear axle ratio; this means that we’ll be saying sayonara to the six-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission that had a 2.56 ratio.
But that’s not all she wrote about 2015 Corvette Stingray updates. The all-new Vette will also be saying goodbye to the Cyber Gray Metallic and Lime Rock Green Metallic exterior colors, but will be welcoming in Shark Gray Metallic and—are you ready for it?—Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. Of course, because orange is awesome, it will come at an extra cost.
Like most other 2015 GM models, the 2015 Corvette Stingray will also get OnStar 4G LTE. In addition, the Performance Data and Video Recorder will get direct integration.
And as if that’s not enough, Stingray drivers will have a host of new packages to sift through. Some options include all-new wheels, a Carbon Flash Badge Package, and a Chrome Badge Package.
Who’s excited? Oh, all of you? That’s what we thought.
