The Alfa Romeo Giulia QV can accelerate from 0 to 60 in only 3.8 seconds

Fans of the Alfa Romeo Giulia might want to grab a paper towel to stop the drool oozing from their mouths after they’re done viewing this post.
While the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde (or cloverleaf) already made its public debut in July, that hasn’t stopped the vehicle from grabbing loads of attention at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Alfa Romeo officials have confirmed that the Giulia QV completed a lap in only 7:37 at the Nordschleife circuit, which was 13 seconds faster than the BMW M4’s quickest lap time.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia QV comes equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine good for 510 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. This RWD vehicle also features a top speed of 190 mph and will come with the choice of either a six-speed automatic or manual transmission. Additionally, this Alfa Romeo will be able to thrust itself from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.8 seconds.
The Giulia QV is expected to become available for purchase in 2016 for interested US consumers. Pricing has yet to be announced, but in European countries the Giulia QV is selling for around 90,000 euros, which converts to approximately $101,620.
A lot of time went into engineering the Giulia QV and that’s proved by its perfect 50/50 weight balance between its front and rear axles. The redesigned Giulia will also feature carbon brakes, a new torque vectoring system, and an active aero splitter that will improve downforce. Fans of Alfa Romeo will probably be happy to know the Giulia will be keeping its trademark Treofoil V-shaped grille.
The 2016 Giulia is just one of eight new models Alfa Romeo plans to release by 2018 and while the Frankfurt Motor Show gave everyone a look at the QV trim, it won’t be until the Geneva Auto Show in March that everybody gets to see its other trim levels.
