Chrysler Pacifica Earns Spot on Digital Trends’ Best Family Cars for 2019 List
The Chrysler Pacifica, the vehicle that defined the minivan segment with its debut, has always been designed to deliver a comfortable and safe driving experience for families on the road as well as deliver a ton of space for drivers who need to transport a ton of stuff. So, with its award-winning 2019 model, it’s really not a surprise that the automotive experts at Digital Trends singled out the Chrysler Pacifica as the “Best Car for Large Families.”

“The Pacifica proves that minivans are still the best option for buyers who need to haul a lot of people or stuff,” Digital Trends said.
To determine its list of winners, the staff of Digital Trends evaluated vehicles in real-world conditions in categories including design, inside and out, driving performance, value, safety features and entertainment and infotainment technology.
“Minivans have a bit of an image problem, but the Chrysler Pacifica fights back against that with a stylish exterior, well-appointed interior, and refined road manners,” said Digital Trends writer Ronan Glon. “The standard 287-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 also ensures this minivan is no slouch on the highway. But the real reason to buy a minivan is space, and the Pacifica has plenty of it, comfortably seating seven or eight, depending on the configuration.”

Glon was particularly impressed with the Pacifica’s innovative design and modern connectivity tech, which boasts elements such as the Stow ‘N Go system, a built-in vacuum cleaner, a standard 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
