The Corvette Caravan Needs Your Help…Sort Of
The National Corvette Museum’s Corvette Caravan is coming up next month, but according to Corvette Blogger, the museum is in need of some assistance. This year, the museum is after Blade Silver or Cyber Gray 2014 Corvette Stingrays to lead the parade.
But that’s as far as your help goes. See, you won’t actually get to drive in the Corvette Caravan. That’s a job for the Kentucky State Police. You will get to ride shotgun, however, which is still pretty cool.
The lucky Stingrays will be fitted with temporary police lights and decals for the parade, which will be held in Bowling Green on August 27. In total, the National Corvette Museum is looking for four Corvettes to lead the charge. Owners of said Corvettes would need to get the Stingrays to the museum on August 25 to get all the equipment installed.
If you’re interested in offering up your Blade Silver or Cyber Gray C7, shoot an email to Karen@corvettemuseum.org or Bryce@corvettemuseum.org.
This year’s Corvette Caravan will be a big one, as the museum is celebrating its 20th anniversary and the opening of the Motorsports Park.
If your Corvette is selected to be a part of the caravan, let us know! We’d love to hear about it—and maybe drool over your Stingray. Just a little.
